Russell “Mikey” Neely, 61
EAST LIVERPOOL – Russell Neely, of East Liverpool, passed away at his home Thursday, December 7, 2023. He was 61.
Born in Cameron, West Virginia, April 12, 1962, he was a son of the Barbara Ann Pickens Stowers and the late Ralph Gene Neely. A resident of this area most of his life, he worked at the Uptown Car Wash. Previously, he worked in road construction with Labor Union 809. Mikey also enjoyed shoot pool and would travel to tournaments.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children: a daughter, Madeline Neely and her fiancé, Travis, of East Palestine, and two sons, Thomas Neely and his wife, Lisa, of Chester, and Travis Neely of East Liverpool, as well as a granddaughter, Naryah Neely and two nephews, Jason Maneval Jr. and Brandon Neely. He also is survived by a sister, Patricia Neely, and two brothers, Randy Neely and his wife, Dawn Marie, of Monaca, and Dennis Neely and his wife, Tonya, of East Liverpool.
In addition to his father, he was preceded by a brother, Kevin Neely.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit two hours prior to the service.
