Obituary for Sally Ann Adkins (Adkins)
EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO – Sally Ann Adkins, 72, of East Liverpool passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021 at East Liverpool City Hospital.
Sally was born in East Liverpool on May 28, 1948. She was a graduate of East Liverpool High School class of 1966. Sally retired after working many years in the dietary department at East Liverpool City Hospital. She loved playing board games, going shopping and visiting the casino. Sally loved spending time with her daughter and granddaughter. She hoped to see her granddaughter graduate from high school.
Preceding Sally in death were her mother Norma Jean (Gething) Adkins and niece Kristina Kidder.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Erica Franklin and her husband John of Austintown; granddaughter Gabriella Franklin of Austintown; father Bernard E. Adkins of East Liverpool; three sisters Carol Hovis and her husband John of East Liverpool, Marlene Lemley and her husband Jerry of East Liverpool and Deborah Sullins of East Liverpool; brother Bernie Adkins of East Liverpool; former husband Charles Lipscomb of Lisbon; furry companion Chance; a nephew and several nieces.
Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Friday where the family will be present from 4 to 6 p.m. for a celebration of life. In compliance with Ohio state regulations with concerns of the COVID-19 virus masks must be worn at all times in the funeral home.
