Obituary for Sandy "Sandra" Bevington

EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO – Sandy “Sandra” J. Bevington of East Liverpool passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at her home with her family by her side.

Sandy was born in East Liverpool a daughter of the late Delbert H. and Gladys (Walton) Morris. She was a graduate of East Liverpool High School Class of 1969. Sandy worked at Herche Bloor for 12 years. She retired from the East Liverpool City School District in 2014 where she worked as a teacher’s aide for 25 years. Sandy was a member of the Second Church of Christ and loved going to church and all the church functions.

Sandy liked to go shopping and eating out with her friends Darlene Orr, Lynn Woods, Hillary Wright and her special teacher Mrs. Donna Campbell. She loved playing cards, board games and playing bingo with family and friends. She loved to travel with her family. Sandy loved to sit outside in the evenings with her husband and their many friends. She loved her two little doggies Dutchess and Cody and her special boyfriend next door Danny Boy! Sandy will miss her good friend and special bank lady Mrs. Mag Wyche.

Preceding Sandy in death were her granddaughter Faith Marie Bevington; two sisters JoAnn Millward and Cyrena Brown; two brothers Delbert L. and William Morris and sister-in-law Patricia Morris.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 45 years, whom she married August 23, 1975, Michael W. Bevington; son Thomas Bevington, his wife Jennifer and their daughter Quinn Noel of Grand Rapids, MI; son Matthew Bevington of Grand Rapids, MI; brother Larry Morris of East Liverpool and two sisters Jackie Taylor and her husband Larry of Cincinnati and Gladys Kelly of Orlando, FL.

Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Friday where the family will be present from 4 to 7 p.m. Elder Rob Carter of Second Church of Christ will conduct a service at the Funeral Home Saturday at 12 p.m. Burial will follow at Columbiana County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of Sandy may be directed to Second Church of Christ, 1302 Pennsylvania Avenue, East Liverpool, OH 43920.
