Obituary for Sarah M. Davis (Kinne)
EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO – Sarah M. Davis, 74, of East Liverpool passed away Friday, July 31, 2020 at East Liverpool City Hospital.
Sarah was born in East Liverpool on September 2, 1945 a daughter of the late Raymond A. and Sarah (Curran) Kinne. Sarah was a member of Holy Trinity Parish at St. Aloysius Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Lady Knights of Columbus and St. Al’s Altar and Rosary Society. Sarah retired in 2004 as the Chief Clerk in the Water Department for the City of East Liverpool.
Preceding Sarah in death were her husband Stanley L. Davis; son Stanley A. “Dink” Davis and two brothers Raymond and Robert Kinne.
Left to cherish her memory are two daughters Susan Burgess and her husband Michael of East Liverpool and Sally Ryan and her husband Michael of East Liverpool; three grandchildren Courtney Burgess and her fiancé Brian Maylone of East Liverpool, Caitlin Burgess of East Liverpool and Christa Burgess of East Liverpool; two step grandchildren Josh Ryan of Gibsonville, NC and Jonathan Ryan of Columbus and great granddaughter Leighton Maylone.
Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Monday where the family will be present from 4 to 8 p.m. Fr. Scott Kopp will officiate a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Parish at St. Aloysius Catholic Church. In compliance with Ohio state regulations with concerns of the COVID-19 virus masks must be worn at all times at the funeral home and church. Burial will follow in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff on the fourth and fifth floor at East Liverpool City Hospital for the excellent care and concern given to Sarah.
