Obituary for Sheila A. Steed

Sheila A. Steed, 72

EAST LIVERPOOL – Sheila A. Steed, of East Liverpool, passed away Friday morning, October 2, 2020 at the Stone Pear Pavilion following a lengthy illness. She was 72.

Born in St. Anthony, Idaho, December 5, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Burke and Melba Benson Clark. A resident of this area most of her life, she was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. At one time, she was a member of the Red Hat Society and she loved to cross-stitch.

She is survived by her husband, Donald R. Steed, at home. The couple married June 14, 1968. She is also survived by her children: a daughter, Kristy Steed and her companion, Robert Buzzard, of East Liverpool, and two sons, Donny Steed and his wife, Misty, of East Liverpool, and Kevin Steed and his wife, Angela, of Canfield. There are 13 grandchildren: Tyler Steed, Alyson Buzzard, Robert Buzzard, Kiley Steed, Rachelle Woofter, Braden Buzzard, Callie Steed, Morgan Buzzard, Jacob Steed, Reagan Buzzard, Carley Buzzard, Lauren Steed, and Lucas Buzzard, as well as one great-grandchild, Caiden Steed.

She is also survived by one sister, Pam Anderson of Vancouver, Washington.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter Lisa Steed.

Rev. Norman Eckert will conduct a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Masks and social distancing are required. Burial will be at Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens in Newell.
