Shirley Jean Goldinger Foreman, 82
EAST LIVERPOOL – Shirley Jean Goldinger Foreman, of East Liverpool, passed away Monday morning, February 3, 2020 at the Stone Pear Pavilion in Chester. She was 82.
Born in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, December 31, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Margaret Ann Goldinger. She was a member of the Boyce United Methodist Church where she was active in the Homebuilders Class for many years. Shirley worked seasonally at Riverview Greenhouse and loved walking, playing bingo and visiting with friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Emerson “Sonny” Foreman, Jr. The couple married January 16, 1960. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Harry and Charles Goldinger, and six sisters, Laura Jean Goldinger, Rita Smith, Mary Galeoti, Grace Seeved, Ruth Cameron and Betty Carroll.
Survivors include two daughters, Marie A. Smith and her husband, Brian, of Medina, Ohio, and Laura J. Foreman Loy and her husband, Rich, of East Liverpool, along with a granddaughter, Anna Smith. There are two sisters, Dorothy Carter of Virginia and Annie Rogers of Texas, as well as a brother, James Goldinger of Darlington, Pennsylvania.
Friends may visit Tuesday evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Rev. Joe Cilone will conduct a funeral service Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
Following the service, friends and family will gather at the Heights Church for fellowship.
