Obituary for Sid Perkins

Sid Perkins, 79

EAST LIVERPOOL – Sid Perkins, of East Liverpool, passed away Monday, March 28, 2022, at the East Liverpool City Hospital following a brief illness. He was 79.

Born in Renick, West Virginia, August 7, 1942, he was a son of the late Roy S. and Mildred Beohm Perkins. He was a member of the East Liverpool High School Class of 1961. A U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he served from 1966 to 1968. He returned home and worked at the former Crucible Steel Company until 1982 and later worked as a salesman at AJ Loudon Ford. He was a member of the Elks Lodge 258, VFW Post 6450 and the American Legion.

His wife, Cindi Bonitati Perkins, survives at home. He is also survived by a son, Steven Ensell of East Liverpool, as well as a brother, Marion L. Perkins and his wife, Jean, of East Liverpool.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a brother, James S. “Jim” Perkins.

Friends may visit Thursday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 4 to 7 p.m. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Sid will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery.
