Obituary for Stan West
Stanley West, 73
GEORGETOWN, PA – Stanley A. West, of Georgetown, passed away Monday, December 28, 2020 at Heritage Valley Beaver following a brief illness. He was 73.
Born in East Liverpool, October 7, 1947, he was a son of the late Betty Wright Blosser. He was raised in Lawrenceville and worked as a crane operator at SH Bell until retiring after 40 years of service.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a son, Jim West, a sister, Juanita Cline, and a brother, Paul J. Blosser.
He is survived by his wife, Nina Sanfilippo Payne West, whom he married August 4, 1994. He also leaves five sons: Tim West and his wife, Kristen, of Wellsville, Pete West and his wife, Kris, of Guilford Lake, Danny West and his companion, Shirley Hackney, of Wellsville, Jason Payne and his wife, Shara, of Georgetown, and Jamie Payne and his wife, Francie, of Georgetown.
There are 12 grandchildren: Nick West, Lindsay West, Ethan West, Jasmine West, Desiree West, Timmy West, Danny West, Connor Payne, Kaylea Payne, Keaton Payne, Sydney Payne and Maxx Payne; along with two great-grandchildren: Noah and Halle.
He is also survived by a sister, Becky Withers of Salem.
Private family services will be conducted at the Dawson Funeral Home Wednesday, December 30, 2020. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Wellsville.
A celebration of Stan’s life will be held at a later date when family and friends can gather safely.
