Obituary for Steven M. Smith
EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO – Steven M. Smith, 62, of East Liverpool passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020 at East Liverpool City Hospital.
Steven was born in Steubenville on June 6, 1958. He worked as an apartment manager. Steven loved to make people laugh and people enjoyed being around him because of his laughter. He was an avid ghost hunter which he enjoyed doing with his wife. Steven was always available to help others day or night and often put others needs above his own.
Preceding Steven in death were his father Warren Smith; mother Edna (Spencer) Athey; brother Warren Smith and sister Vicky McElhaney.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, whom he married February 11, 1983, Tammy (Stewart) Smith; son Jonathan Smith and his wife Victoria Uveges of East Liverpool; a grandson soon to be born; three sisters Mary Vorkapich and her husband Dan of Salem, Linda Athey of East Liverpool and Sara Farnsworth and her husband Doug of East Liverpool; two brothers William Athey of East Liverpool and Richard Athey of East Liverpool; step mother Elaine Smith of Grand Rapids, MI; step brother Jim Smith and his wife Betsy of Grand Rapids, MI and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Dawson Funeral Home.
