Obituary for Sue Ann Nelson
EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO – Sue Ann Nelson, 83, of East Liverpool passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at East Liverpool City Hospital.
Sue was born in Chester, WV on March 11, 1939 a daughter of the late Donald D. and Goldie G. (Logston) Stewart. She was a former member of the Word of Life Church. Sue was an exceptional piano player. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Preceding Sue in death were her brother Phil Stewart and sister Joyce Lee Lingenfelter.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 51 years, whom she married May 20, 1970, Royal E. Nelson; six sons Aaron Kittridge and his companion Sue Buchanan of Leetonia, OH, Allen Nelson and his wife Deb of Centerville, OH, Stephen Kittridge and his wife Maribeth of Peoria, AZ, Mark Nelson of Antioch, TN, Daniel Kittridge of East Liverpool and Paul Nelson and his wife Amy of Leetonia, OH; two sisters Donna Smallwood of Salem, OH and Gloria Devon of East Liverpool; two brothers John Stewart and his wife Donna of East Liverpool and Keith Stewart of Anchorage, AK; eleven grandchildren Ben Kittridge, Rebecca Kittridge, Rachel Kittridge, Josh Nelson, Luke Nelson, Jared Nelson, Shannon Nelson, Jacob Nelson, Alex Nelson, Nickolas Nelson and Courtney Nelson and two great grandchildren River and Hayes Nelson.
Friends may visit Monday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pastor William Anzevino of Christian Assembly will conduct a funeral service Monday 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery.
