Obituary for Susan Collins
East Liverpool, Ohio- Susan Kay Collins, 66, of Michigan Avenue passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022 at 5:22 p.m. at East Liverpool City Hospital following a lengthy battle with Covid-19.
Born September 3rd, 1955 in East Liverpool, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Paul Eugene and Hilda Mae Burlingame Kirbaugh. A lifetime area resident, Susan worked for the former Hall China Company in East End.
Survivors include her husband, Larry L. Collins, whom she married July 6th, 1985, at home.
She leaves behind one daughter, Amy Marie Martin and her husband, Jeremy of Glenmoor, Ohio; and one son, Dixon Danver III and his wife, Debra of East Liverpool, Ohio.
There are eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In addition, she also leaves behind one sister, Janet Brinker and her husband, Phil of Rogers, Ohio; and one brother, Jerry Kirbaugh of Calcutta, Ohio.
Friends may visit the family from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Dawson Funeral Home in East Liverpool, Ohio. Pastor Dirk Hall of the Living Well Church in Wellsville, Ohio will officiate a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
Everyone in attendance is required to wear a mask at all times and follow social distancing.
