Obituary for Terrie Smathers
BEAUMONT, TEXAS – Terrie L. Smathers, 65, of Beaumont, TX formerly of East Liverpool passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at the Christus Southeast Texas - St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX.
Terrie was born in East Liverpool on September 15, 1956. She received her pastoral degree in 2016. Terrie loved camping and going to the beach. She loved vacationing and packing as many family members into a hotel room as she could. She spent her life serving her family and others. She passionately served the Lord with all of her heart and was a member of Sumter 1st Church of the Nazarene.
Preceding Terrie in death was her father Albert A. “Ace” Adams.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Randy Smathers; six children Mike Talbott, Jeremy Talbott, Crystal Williams, Joshua Talbott, Anthony Talbott and their spouses along with her youngest Adam Talbott; three step children Raymond Smathers, David Smathers and Stephanie Smathers; mom Doris Ann (Blosser) Adams; sisters Patty Hall, Debbie Ehrhart, and Sandy Gregg; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Friends may visit Friday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pastor Norm Eckert of Beechwood Free Methodist Church will conduct a funeral service Friday 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial at Riverview Cemetery.
