Obituary for Thomas A White

Thomas A. White, 65

EAST LIVERPOOL – Thomas A. White, of East Liverpool, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017 surrounded by his loving family at the East Liverpool City Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was 65.

Born in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, December 21, 1951, he was a son of the late Thomas and Mary June Streets White. He was a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He was a graduate of the former Lincoln High School and continued his education at East Liverpool’s Kent State University. Tom worked at the former Crucible Steel Company until 1982 and then worked as an operator for the East Liverpool Water Department. At one time, he was a Troop Leader with the Boy Scouts of America Troop 11.

His wife, Debra Lyle White, survives at home. The couple married October 20, 1973. He also is survived by his daughter, Rachael King and her husband, Rick, of Kent, Ohio, and a son Zachary White of Fayetteville, Arkansas. He also leaves behind two grandchildren: Cameron and Brooke King.

He is also survived by a sister Tracy Cameron of East Liverpool.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Audie Earl White.

Pastor William Anzevino of the Christian Assembly Church will conduct a funeral service Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home where friends may visit two-hours prior to the service.

Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery where the Tri-State Veterans Burial Group will conduct military honors.

Following the service, friends and family will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
