Obituary for Tommy Lee Scott

STEUBENVILLE, OHIO – Tommy Lee Scott, 64, of East Liverpool passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville.

Tommy was born in East Liverpool on August 2, 1956. He was a graduate of East Liverpool High School Class of ‘74. Tommy was known as the mayor of Heights Manor. He was a bricklayer and concrete finisher.

Preceding Tommy in death were his father John Scott and three brothers John H., Charles and Willie J. Scott.

Left to cherish his memory are three sons John Scott of East Liverpool, Shawn Scott of East Liverpool and Yonka Scott of Tempe, AZ; three grandchildren Za’Kari, Shanice and Jayden Scott; mother Charlie Mae (Ashley) Scott of East Liverpool; brother Sam Scott of Columbus; two sisters Rose Welch of Mesa, AZ and Elizabeth Younger and her husband AL of Harrisonburg, VA and many nieces, nephews, relatives and good friends.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Chelsea (Dustin Birkhimer) Piscopo, Sally Stewart, Harry Davis, the Heights Manor Office of Heroes and Dr. Provenzano of the Tony Teramana Cancer Center.

Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Thursday where the family will be present from 4 to 8 p.m. Pastor Travis Coon will conduct a funeral service Friday 10 a.m. at the funeral home. In compliance with Ohio state regulations with concerns of the COVID-19 virus masks must be worn at all times at the funeral home.
