Obituary for Una R Kelly (Doutt)

Una R. Kelly, 96

DARLINGTON, PA – Una R. Kelly, longtime Wellsville and East Liverpool resident, passed away Friday, March 17, 2017 at the Lakeview Personal Care Home in Darlington, Pennsylvania. She was 96.

Born in Ohioville, March 25, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Aaron and Elsie Wright Doutt. A member of the Oakland Free Methodist Church, at one time she was president of the Keenagers. Along with her late husband, she was a member of the Blue and White Touchdown Club and a supporter of all Potters sports teams. She had worked at the former Woodbine Laundry and later at the former Edwin M. Knowles Pottery.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, W. Harold Kelly, on August 4, 2011. The couple married August 1, 1950. She was also preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.

Several nieces and nephews survive.

Friends may visit Tuesday evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service Wednesday. Chaplain Thomas Bond will conduct a funeral service Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Ohioville.

Following the service, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
