Obituary for Vickie Lynn Hooper (DiMaggio)

PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA – Vickie Lynn (DiMaggio) Hooper, 53, of East Liverpool passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh following a sudden illness.

Vickie was born in Oceanside, California on July 16, 1966. Vickie was a graduate of East Liverpool High School class of 1984. She also graduated from Kent State with an associate degree. Vickie worked for the City of East Liverpool as a secretary for the Safety Service Department. She also worked as a paralegal for Attorney Charles Payne.

Vickie loved to ride motorcycles, boating on a pontoon boat and camping. Her main passion in life was her family whom she loved dearly.

Vickie was preceded in death by her father Vincent P. DiMaggio; mother Shirley M. (Pack) DiMaggio and brother William A. “Will” DiMaggio.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 36 years Randy W. Hooper, Sr.; two sons Randy W. Hooper, Jr. and his wife Stephanie of East Liverpool and Ryan Hooper and his wife Tara of East Liverpool; daughter Rachelle Kessler and her husband Kurt of Salineville; four grandchildren ArickaAnn, Damien, Eli and Lucas Hooper; three brothers Vincent DiMaggio of East Liverpool; Lee DiMaggio of Florida and Eric DiMaggio of Arizona; two sisters Tina DiMaggio of Weirton, WV and Brenda DiMaggio of East Liverpool and her fur babies Molly and Mac.

Friends may visit Sunday afternoon and evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Rev. James Handy will conduct a funeral service Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
