Obituary for Virginia R. "Jenny" Turner (Stacey)
EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO – Virginia R. “Jenny” Turner, 79, of East Liverpool died Sunday, November 24, 2019 at her home. She was born in East Liverpool on September 13, 1940 a daughter of the late Arthur J. and Betty R. (Bailey) Stacey. Virginia retired from the East Liverpool City Hospital as a nurse’s aide. She liked playing cards and going to Bingo. She enjoyed being a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Preceding Virginia in death was her sister Mildred E. “Millie” Yager in 2012.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 58 years, whom she married January 27, 1961, William H. “Bill” Turner; daughter Diane Turner of East Liverpool; son William J. “Bill” Turner of East Liverpool; grandson Brad Turner of East Liverpool; brother Arthur Stacey and his wife Jan of Salem and sister Martha Dittmar.
Friends may visit Wednesday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Rev. Norm Eckert of Beechwood Free Methodist Church will conduct a funeral service Wednesday at 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery.
