Obituary for Larry Myers
East Liverpool, Ohio- Winston “Larry” Myers, 80, of McKinnon Avenue passed away Tuesday, May 9th, 2023 at the Hospice House in Poland, Ohio following a lengthy illness.
Born June 6th, 1942 in East Liverpool, he was a son of the late Winston L. and Betty Jane Pelley Myers. A lifetime area resident, he was retired from the J.C. Penney Company. Methodist by faith, Larry was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Viet Nam during that wartime. He was the co-founder of the Myers Dance Studio along with his sister Vicki for 41 years.
Survivors include one sister, Vicki Broadbent her husband, Keith of East Liverpool; and one brother, Randy Myers and his wife, Jan of Johnson City, Tennessee.
Friends may visit the family on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Dawson Funeral Home in East Liverpool. Pastor Norm Eckert of the Beechwood Free Methodist Church will officiate a funeral service on Saturday at 1:30 pm at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery.
