Obituary for Zachary Nelson Copeland
East Liverpool, Ohio- Zachary Nelson Copeland, 34, of Ohio Avenue passed away Saturday, January 2nd, 2021 at the Emergency Room at East Liverpool City Hospital following a sudden illness.
Born January 25, 1986 in Beaver, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Richard Copeland and of Cherie Dorsey Copeland of East Liverpool.
A lifetime area resident and member of the Sheridan AME Church, he worked as the shipping & receiving manager for the Barium & Chemicals Company in Steubenville, Ohio.
Besides his mother, he also leaves behind his twin sister, Erin Elizabeth Copeland of East Liverpool, and a sister, Angela Copeland of Guthrie, Oklahoma; and two brothers, Sean Copeland of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Richard Copeland of East Liverpool.
In addition to his immediate family, he also leaves behind his companion, Daniel Canterbury of Salem, Ohio and several nieces , nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, January 30th, 2021 at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends are welcome to visit the family from Noon to 2:00 pm. that day.
In compliance with the Ohio State regulations with concerns of the COVID-19 virus, everyone in attendance is required to wear a mask at all times and observe social distancing.
