Albert Michael, 55

WEST FARMINGTON, OHIO – Albert Michael, formerly of East Liverpool, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at St. Joseph Hospital. He was 55 years old.

Born on August 11, 1970, he was the son of the late Gary and Sandra Michael. He spent many years as a long-haul truck driver and took great pride in his work. Albert loved being outdoors, especially when he was fishing, and he adored his dog, Shorty. Above all, he cherished his son, Dakota. He faced life's challenges with a remarkable sense of humor, even managing to joke about "I-HOP" after having his leg amputated.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Devon Michael; niece, Angela Michael; and nephew, Darwin Lake Jr.

Left to cherish his memory are his son Dakota Michael of West Farmington; sisters, Twila Bourassa (Michael) of Satsuma, Florida, Jackie Lake (Darwin) of Salineville, and Connie Cunningham (Irvin) of Jacksonburg, West Virginia; his brother Gary E. Michael (Robin) of Salineville; his beloved girlfriend of five years, Cindy Eckenrode; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Rev. Norm Eckert will conduct a memorial service Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 11 a.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home
