Barbara was a devoted charter member of Madison Trinity Church of West Point since October 6, 1965. At the church, Barbara served in many roles, including: the church clerk, treasurer, secretary, Sunday school teacher for 45 years, and Call to Worship Leader. She enjoyed all church activities, playing cards, and weekend trips to Guilford Lake where she loved rides on the pontoon boat.
Barbara is survived by three nieces, Cathy (Patrick) Yerian of Spring, Texas, Margaret McKinney of Wellsville, and Debra McKinney of Youngstown, as well as great nephews Nathan (Brittany) Yerian of Richmond, Texas, Joshua (Melissa) Yerian of Cypress, Texas, and Zachary (Hanson) Yerian of Conroe, Texas, and great-great nieces and nephews, Madison, Makinlie, Audrey, Ashton, Dalton, Jameson, Parker, Elijah, and Becca Yerian, all of Texas. In addition, a special aunt survives, Jeanne Shreeve, and cousins survive Marta Kay Schrieber and Nancy Coleman, all of East Liverpool. She also leaves her great nephew puppy Zen.
Pastor Colleen Thornhill will conduct a funeral service Saturday, December 14th at 2:00 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit two hours prior to the service. Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to Madison Trinity Church of West Point, in care of Janet Dunlap, 15307 Summit Drive, East Liverpool, Ohio 43920.
