Bonnie McCartney Wolfe, 88

POLAND, OH – Bonnie McCartney Wolfe, of East Liverpool, passed away Friday evening, July 26, 2024, at Shepherd of the Valley in Poland. She was 88 years old.

Born in Webster Springs, West Virginia, October 12, 1935, she was a daughter of the late French and Retha McCartney. A resident of this area most of her life, she worked as a supervisor at Moderne Glass for 27 years. Along with her husband, she enjoyed travelling, especially trips to the mountains. Above all things in life, Bonnie loved and adored her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert N. Wolfe in 2005. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Ferguson in 2020.

Bonnie leaves behind her family, a daughter Lisa Wolfe of Boardman, and two sons, Scott Wolfe and his wife, Sheila, of Youngtown, and Dennis Wolfe and his wife, Courtney, of Florida, as well as a stepson, Dennis Wichert and his wife, Leigh, of Cincinnati, and a sister, Judy McCartney Green of Webster Springs. There are 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens.
