Carol A. McCauley

EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO – Carol A. McCauley, 66, of East Liverpool passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Carol was born in East Liverpool on January 6, 1957 a daughter of the late Paul V. and Ruth L. (Wooden) Hughes. She worked as a gauge inspector at Bellofram for 31 years. She loved her cats and enjoyed scrapbooking. Carol was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her grandsons.

Preceding Carol in death was her brother Paul V. Hughes II and sister Ruth Ward.

Left to cherish her memory are her son Jason McCauley; two grandsons Griffin James and Rizzo Parker McCauley; three sisters Susan Walker, Roberta Davis and Gloria Hughes; niece whom she considered a daughter Debbie Thordor and her husband Marty and many other nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Carol's life will be held at the Dawson Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m.Wednesday.
