Clyde N. Maylone, 73

EAST LIVERPOOL – Clyde N. Maylone, of East Liverpool, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at the East Liverpool City Hospital. He was 73.

Born in East Liverpool, October 26, 1950, he was a son of the late Clyde Richard Maylone and Cleo Virginia James Maylone. A resident of this area all his life, he graduated from Southern Local High School. He was a member of the Living Well Church. For many years he worked in housekeeping at East Liverpool City Hospital and later at Beaver Medical Center.

He is survived by his wife, Penny Watkins Maylone, at home. The couple married December 21, 1980. There are two daughters, Kimberly Smith and her husband, John, of Salineville, and Lisa Wolfe and her companion, Patrick, of East Liverpool, along with five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Two sisters survive, Cathie Grant and Virginia Maylone as well as five nieces and nephews, 11 great nieces and nephews, and three great-great nieces and nephews.

Pastor Dirk Hall will conduct a memorial service at 12:00 noon Saturday at the Living Well Church in Wellsville. A reception for family and friends will follow at the church.
