Daniel A. Barker, Sr., 38

WELLSVILLE – Daniel A. Barker, Sr., of Wellsville, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2023. He was 38.

Born in East Liverpool, November 5, 1984, he was a son of Dennis Barker, Sr. (Martha) and the late Loretta L. Hanlon Barker. A lifetime area resident, he was a supervisor for MPW Industrial Services and did contract work at area power plants. He loved to camp, hunt and fish, especially with his children. Devoted to his family, he enjoyed working on the home. He was a member of the East Liverpool High School Class of 2003 and was an avid Miami Dolphins fan.

In addition to his father and stepmother, he is survived by his wife, Nichole Barker, at home. The couple married November 3, 2009. He also will be fondly remembered by his four children: Nicholas Barker, Daniel A. Barker, Jr., Ethan James Barker, and Katelynn Marie Barker. He also leaves two sisters, Laura Barker and Kristie Barker, along with four brothers, Jamie E. Barker, Sr., Dennis Barker, Jr., Lonnie Barker, and William Barker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Pastor Terry Weyand will conduct a funeral service at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit two hours prior to the service. Burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery.

Following the service, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
