Darlene C. Naukam, 78

EAST LIVERPOOL– Darlene C. Naukam, of East Liverpool, passed away Monday morning, September 21, 2026, at Valley Hospice at Trinity Medical Center. She was 78 years old.

Born in East Liverpool, Darlene was a daughter of the late Frederick and Doris Chambers. A lifelong area resident, she was a 1965 graduate of East Liverpool High School and later attended Kent State University, where she worked as a secretary in the audiovisual department. Darlene was employed as a secretary with the Feldman Agency until her retirement. She was a member of Glenmoor Presbyterian Church, where she also served as church secretary, as well as the East Liverpool Garden Club and TOPS. She enjoyed camping, hiking, tending to her flower garden, and adored her cats who were like her children.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 52 years, David L. Naukam, whom she married on February 23, 1974; her sister, Cindy L. Blythe; her nieces, Elizabeth Blythe and Jennifer Joy and her husband, Paul; her great-nephew, Josh Nagy; her great-niece, Kaleen Nagy; great-grandnephews, Orion and Noah Nagy; and her great-grandniece, Nova Nagy. She also leaves her brother-in-law, Phil Naukam; and her sisters-in-law Evy Russell and Joyce Woodrow.

Rev. Dr. Vel Vais will conduct a service at the Dawson Funeral Home Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. where friends may visit three hours prior to the service from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. Immediately following the service, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship. A private burial will take place at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
