EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO – Dorothy M. Morris, 93, of East Liverpool, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026, at her home with her family by her side.

Dorothy was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on July 6, 1932, a daughter of the late John L. and Alice B. (Putnam) Johnson. Dorothy worked as a nurse aide for several years at East Liverpool City Hospital before caring for others in individual home care. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish at St. Aloysius where she served as a eucharistic minister. Dorothy enjoyed needle point, sewing, knitting, gardening and loved cooking. She really enjoyed cutting her grass and taking care of her yard. She also enjoyed getting a good suntan. Dorothy was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.

Preceding Dorothy in death were her husband John F. Morris, Jr.; son John A. Ward; sister Betty Smith and brother William T. Johnson.

Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters Vicki Diddle and Sherry Blaise; stepson Jim Morris and his wife Maria; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and one nephew.

Friends may visit Wednesday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Parish at St. Aloysius on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Fr. Bala Marneni as celebrant. Burial at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
