EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO – Esther M. Welsh, 91, of East Liverpool passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at the Orchards of East Liverpool.

Esther was born in Port Homer, Ohio on February 24, 1931 a daughter of the late Bert H. and Dorothy Belle (Lowe) Woodyard. She worked as a waitress for many years. Esther loved her flowers and really enjoyed the time she spent gardening. She also loved animals.

Preceding Esther in death were three sisters Earnestine Woodyard, Edith Hissom and Eleanor Krafft and three brothers Elden, Edward and Ervin Woodyard.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 71 years, whom she married July 2, 1951, Donald F. Welsh; daughter Babette Welsh of East Liverpool; three sisters-in-law Mrs. Ervin Ruth Woodyard, Naomi Sholes and Helen Brown; many beloved nieces and nephews and many fond friends.

Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Saturday where the family will be present from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Rev. George White of Christian Life Tabernacle will conduct a service at the Funeral Home on Saturday 1 p.m. Burial at Calcutta U.P. Cemetery.
