EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO – Frederick P. "Fred" Fischer, 85, of East Liverpool passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at his home with his family by his side.

Fred was born in East Liverpool on August 16, 1938 a son of the late William L. and Pauline E. (Gamble) Fischer. He was a graduate of East Liverpool High School Class of 1957. He was a veteran of the Navy. Fred worked as a photographer for the Evening Review and later retired from Walmart where he worked in the photo department. He was a well-known local photographer. Fred also enjoyed painting landscapes in watercolor. He was a founding member and faithful servant of Christ the King Anglican Church in Columbiana. Fred was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

In addition to his parents Fred was preceded in death by his brother William E. Fischer.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 57 years, whom he married July 2, 1966, Rev. Deacon Barbara (Rodell) Fischer; daughter Allison Grady and her husband Kevin; son Ted Fischer and his wife Sherry; three grandchildren Erin Fischer, Carissa Grady and Mitchell Grady and five great grandchildren.

Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Tuesday where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Fr. J. Lee Martin of Christ the King Anglican Church will conduct a Burial Service with Eucharist at the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Burial at Riverview Cemetery where Tri State Veterans Burial Group will provide military honors.

Immediately following the service, the family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for a time of fellowship.
