EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO – Gloria Jean Pugh, 82, of East Liverpool passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024 at Calcutta Health Care Center.

Gloria was born in Midland, PA on August 1, 1941 a daughter of the late Harry D. and Catherine (McGarrity) Fleming, Sr. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish at St. Aloysius where she sang in the choir. Gloria enjoyed arranging silk flowers. She was avid bingo player with her mom and sisters.

Preceding Gloria in death were her granddaughter Paige Haney; brother Harry D. "Red" "Buddy" Fleming, Jr. and two sisters Dorothy McGonigal and Kathleen Everhart.

Left to cherish her memory are the love of her life, best friend and husband of 60 years Eugene Pugh; two daughters Christina L. Johnson and her husband Mike and Joyce Grey; three sons David Pugh and his wife Charlotte, Robert Pugh and his wife Mandy and John Pugh and his fiancée Doreen; twelve grandchildren Shina Haney, Jessica Street, Josh Shreve, Christopher Shreve, Brigette Grey, Kayla Pugh, Amanda Grey, Jade Pugh, Megan Grey, Ally Pugh, Dylan Jones and Dustin Chipps; sister Martha Jane Edwards; many great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Tuesday where the family will be present from 12 to 2 p.m. Anna Mae Covert will conduct a service at the funeral home on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Burial at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
