Grace E. Burghardt, 71

EAST LIVERPOOL – Grace E. Burghardt, of East Liverpool, passed away at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital while surrounded by her family following a brief illness. She was 71 years old.

Born in East Liverpool, June 13, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Linburg Howard and Mary Lou Beaver Howard Holland. She graduated from Beaver Local High School and had lived in this area all her life. She was a homemaker, and she loved and adored her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed travelling and riding Indian Motorcycles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Burghardt.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her companion Donald Mallernee of Jewett Scio, Ohio, a daughter, Tina M. Travis and her companion, Jessie, of East Liverpool, and a son, Michael Travis of East Liverpool, as well as six grandchildren: Katlyn, Logan, Gage, Hayden, Noah, and Austin; and nine great-grandchildren: Connor, Grayson, Daisy, Jayden, Vanessa, Marilou, Ashton, Avery, and Rowan.

She also is survived by her former husband, Michael Travis, and a brother, Jack Howard and his wife, Janess.
