EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO – Herman L. Moxley of Beaver, PA passed away peacefully on Friday, August 12, 2022 at Valley Oaks Care Center.

Herman was born in Midland, PA on May 23, 1928 a son of the late Norman and Sally (Conners) Moxley. He retired from Crucible Steel after 35 years of service and worked for the Beaver County Sheriff's Department. Herman was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church where he served as a trustee. He enjoyed traveling with his wife. Herman was a member of the Masonic Lodge, FOP and Deputy Sheriff Association of PA.

Preceding Herman in death were his 1st wife Alberta Carter; 2nd wife Eva Peties; 3rd wife Shirley Moxley; three sisters Moease Tivis, Louise Allen and Bernice Tyson and two brothers Norman and Clyde Moxley.

Left to cherish his memory are his two daughters Helen Moxley of East Liverpool and Evelyn Simpson of New Brighton; three sons Herman Moxley, Jr. and his wife Irene of Wellsville, Sherman Moxley of East Liverpool and Gregory Moxley and his wife Angela of Beaver, PA; nephew Lenwood C. Tivis and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Friends may visit Sunday, August 21, 2022 at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 6 p.m. Pastor Derrick Kendall of New Hope Baptist Church will conduct a funeral service Monday, August 22, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Immediately following the service, a time of fellowship will be held at the New Hope Baptist Church.
