East Liverpool, Ohio – James C. "Jim" Craig II, 64, of Annesley Road passed away Tuesday, March 5th, 2024 at 11:28 a.m. at his residence following a lengthy illness.

Born in East Liverpool, Ohio on April 10th, 1959, he was a son of the late James C. and Mollie Weekley Craig. A lifetime area resident, he was retired from the Ohio Edison Company. He later owned and operated Craig's Tire & Service which was located on his residential property. A graduate of Beaver Local High School Class of 1977, he was a member of the Destiny House Church in Calcutta, Ohio.

An avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, he and his wife loved to entertain family and friends for every Steelers game. He loved to have his extended family over for cookouts and swimming. Jim was a very hard worker, and he always went out of his way to help those in need. If you ever needed anything, all you had to do was ask.

Survivors include his wife, Candy Lynn Fetty Craig, whom he married June 23rd, 1979, at home. There is one daughter, Melissa Joy Yanni and her husband, Jayson of East Liverpool and one son, James C. Craig III of East Liverpool.

In addition, he leaves behind one granddaughter, Kinsley Joy Yanni; and his dog, Abby.

Also, near and dear to his heart were Kaylee, Calvin, Lana, Logan, and Colton.

Friends may visit the family this Friday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home in East Liverpool. Pastor Court Riddle of the church will officiate a funeral service at 6:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
