EAST LIVERPOOL – James F. "Muzzy" Farnsworth, 77, of East Liverpool passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at East Liverpool City Hospital.

Muzzy was born on September 4, 1947, a son of the late James E. and Lyndora "Sis" (Schmidt) Farnsworth. He retired as a machinist from Reichardt. Muzzy was an avid football fan and his favorite team was the Pittsburgh Steelers. He enjoyed fishing and gambling. Muzzy was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and loved spending time with his family.

Preceding Muzzy in death were two sisters Linda Greathouse and Noreen Curran

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 24 years, whom he married February 16, 2001, Debbie (Galeoti) Farnsworth; three sons Mike Farnsworth, Doug Farnsworth and his wife Sarah and Brad Farnsworth and his wife Jocelyn; daughter Chris Farnsworth and her fiancé Keith McCoy; two brothers Dave Farnsworth and his wife Patty and Gary Farnsworth and his wife June; ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and his best buddy, his dog, Brutus.

Friends may visit Monday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Pastor Norm Eckert will conduct a funeral service Tuesday 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Columbiana County Memorial Park.

Following the service, family and friends will gather at the Memories, Meetings and More Banquet Center in East End for a time of fellowship.
