EAST LIVERPOOL – Jean A. Smith, 85, of East Liverpool, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Calcutta Health Care Center.

Jean was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on April 23, 1940, a daughter of the late Donald R. and Eva (Moore) Scott. She was a very loving person and enjoyed helping people. Jean worked as a home health caregiver.

Preceding Jean in death were her husband Pershing Francis Smith; four brothers and three sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are her two sons Russell P. "Rusty" Smith and his wife Andrea and Randy Smith and his wife Theresa; two grandchildren Melissa McFadden and her husband Bub and Jerremy Smith; three great grandchildren Cameron Barber, Kailen Barber and Preston McFadden; sister Donna Hanlon and brother-in-law Art Smith and his wife Sherry.

Jean's family invites you to a celebration of life memorial open house on January 10, 2026 from 12 to 3 p.m. at the Dawson Family Center.
