EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO – Jeffrey M. "Jeff" Calhoun, 77, of Wellsville passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at East Liverpool City Hospital.

Jeff was born in East Liverpool on August 18, 1946 a son of the late Merle and Lurhea (Burcham) Calhoun. He was a graduate of East Liverpool High School Class of 1965. Jeff was a Navy veteran proudly serving on the USS Intrepid during the Vietnam War. He worked as a headend technician for Comcast for 41 years retiring in 2008. Jeff was a life member of the VFW Post 66 and American Legion Post 374. He enjoyed golfing and boating. Jeff was a past president of the Ohio Valley Boat Club. He was a great storyteller. Jeff was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and a great friend and will be truly missed by everyone.

Preceding Jeff in death was his sister Alice Mae Calhoun.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 48 years, whom he married August 2, 1975, Karen (Wuebker) Calhoun; son Chris Calhoun and his wife Jill; two sisters Karen Cowherd and her husband Jim and Roxanne Beck; two sisters-in-law Margie Steinke and her husband Paul and Nancy Kremer; three brothers-in-law Mark Wuebker, Richard Wuebker and his wife Trish and Garry Wuebker and his wife Judi and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Wednesday where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Pastor Norm Eckert of Beechwood Free Methodist Church will conduct a service at the funeral home on Thursday at 10 a.m. where Tri State Veterans Burial Group will conduct military honors.

Immediately following the service, the family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for a time of fellowship.
