EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO – JoAnn Bates, 64, of East Liverpool passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at East Liverpool City Hospital.

JoAnn was born in East Liverpool on February 13, 1959. She was a graduate of East Liverpool High School class of 1978. JoAnn was a homemaker who loved to cook. She was a member of LaCroft Nazarene Church.

Preceding JoAnn in death was her father Kenneth White.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 40 years, whom she married June 21, 1983, Rodney Bates; son Wiley Bates and his wife Jenna; daughter Heather Jackson; six grandchildren John Jackson, Matthew Jackson, Kayleigh Jackson, Lexus Jackson, Dillon Bates and Connor Bates; two great grandchildren; mother Gloria (Beaver) White and three brothers Joe White and his wife Debbie, John White and his wife Kim and Jim "Bodie" White and his wife Lynn.

A private service was held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Dawson Funeral Home.
