ELLWOOD CITY, PENNSYLVANIA – John William Wilson, Sr., 81, of East Liverpool passed away Monday, January 31, 2022.

John was born in Georgetown, PA on April 23, 1940 a son of the late Cedric and Dessie (Crooms) Wilson. He was an Army veteran. John enjoyed fishing. He was a family man that enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids.

John was preceded in death by his three sons John William Wilson, Jr., James Jeffrey Wilson and Anthony Wilson and two sisters Carol Ann Henry and Dolly Rice.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Deanna Boley and her husband Jeff of East Liverpool; three sisters Beverly Stokes of East Liverpool, Patricia Norfleet of East Liverpool and Jacqueline Wilson and her fiancé Laurence Newell of Ellwood City, PA; eight grandchildren Ryan, Jeff, Corey, Destiny, Marah, Amy, Mary and Davey; many great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 1 to 2 p.m. Evangelist Rico Brown of Virginia Avenue Church of Christ will conduct a celebration of life Saturday 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
