Karen S. Trotter, 75

East Liverpool, Ohio — Karen S. Jones Trotter, of East Liverpool, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. She was 75 years old

Born in East Liverpool, she was the daughter of Robert Jones and Mildred Little. She devoted more than 30 years to Giant Eagle, beginning as a cashier and working her way up to Human Resources, where her sharp wit, spirited personality, and high standards made her especially well-suited for the role. She was an avid Steelers fan, enjoyed watching NASCAR, and loved tending to her flowers, especially her petunias and impatiens. Above all, she adored her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Jones, her stepfather Lawrence Little, and her brother, Dan Jones.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Kyle Trotter and his wife, Ashley, and Amy Trotter; her grandchildren, T.J. Trotter, Isabella Brown, and James Maxey; and her brothers, Randy Jones and Brian Little.
