EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO – Kenyon D. "Ken" Armstrong, 73, of East Liverpool went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at his home with his family by his side.

Ken was born in Steubenville, OH on January 18, 1950 a son of the late Henry and Vida (Zimmerman) Armstrong. He was a graduate of Steubenville Big Red Class of 1968. Ken was a veteran of the Army proudly serving during the Vietnam War. He retired from Weirton Steel where he worked as a coil bander. Ken was a member of Living Well Church and Disabled American Veterans. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Ken would say throughout his life that family was priority. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting.

Preceding Ken in death was his brother Charles "Chas" Armstrong.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 40 years, the love of his life whom he married December 24, 1983, Pamela (Woods) Armstrong; son Kenny Armstrong; daughter Autumn Schafer and her husband Louie and four grandchildren Aiden Schafer, Jace Schafer, Amelia Schafer and Ava Armstrong.

Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Thursday where the family will be present from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Chaplain Joshua Richardson will conduct a service at the funeral home on Thursday at 1 p.m. Burial at Columbiana County Memorial Park where Tri State Veterans Burial Group will provide military honors.
