Kimberly L. Emes, 61

East Liverpool, OH – Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Kimberly L. Emes, lovingly known as "G", passed away unexpectedly, March 18, 2025, at her residence. She was born October 3, 1963, in Beaver County, a daughter of the late Beatrice Engle and James Emes.‍

G didn't care for adults but loved children and animals. She never met an animal she didn't connect with. She was a kid at heart and was always there for the kids in her life no matter if it was playing with the little ones or listening to the problems of the teenagers. She was someone they knew they could count on and turn to with any issues they had.

Above all, G was a grandmother. Her life revolved around helping to care for her best friend, her five year old granddaughter Kyla, with whom she lived with. G loved to spend time with Kyla teaching her, exercising, playing games, and laughing but their favorite activity was listening to "good" music and dancing. G was also adamant on teaching Kyla manners and to play outside, without electronics. The two were inseparable and shared a bond that can never be broken.

G is survived by her son, Kyle Getty; one very special granddaughter, Kyla Wallace; three sisters, Sandra (Richard) Shellito, Barbara (Thomas) Prokay, and Cheryl (Steve) Shopper. She also leaves her "misfit" family Chris and Jami Wallace, as well as many other family members and children she helped raise, who will sadly miss her.

G was Preceded in death by- Maternal Grandparents, Parents, and brother John "Jack" Emes.

A celebration of life will be held in the summer so it can be outside, in the sun, where G would want it.
