Louise Lovett, 84

Port Charlotte, Florida – Lillian Louise Lovett, formerly of East Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at Charlotte Bay Rehabilitation and Care Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was 84 years old.

Born in East Liverpool, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Frieda Cronin. Louise was a devoted homemaker who deeply loved her family, her community, and all people. She often said, "people are more important than stuff," and lived those words by opening her home to those in need. Known for her kindness and resilience, she encouraged others with her frequent reminder: "we will figure it out."

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Michaelene Lovett; her son, Woodrow Lovett III; and her sister, Sondra Shuffert and her husband, George.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Woodrow Lovett Jr., whom she married on February 22, 1958; her daughters, Sondra Elizabeth Taylor (James) and Lynnette Lovett; her grandchildren, Jeff Lovett, Woody Lovett, Dakota Lovett, James Taylor, Shayne Taylor, Michael Taylor, and Jordan Taylor; 18 great-grandchildren; her brother Michael Cronin; and many nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Spring Grove Cemetery in East Liverpool.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
