Linda M. Pugh Dawson, 79

WELLSVILLE – Linda M. Pugh Dawson, of Wellsville, passed away Sunday morning, December 10, 2023, at her home. She was 79.

Born in East Liverpool, April 27, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Novelle L. Smoot Pugh. Raised in Chester, she was a member of the Chester High School Class of 1962. She was a member of the Chester Church of the Nazarene and worked at the former ABC Carry Out in Wellsville as well as Isaly's in East Liverpool.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary C. Dawson, on October 4, 2016. The couple married August 6, 1966.

She was one of seven children along with two sisters, Joyce Baker and Carol Wakefield, and four brothers, Oliver, Alvin, Frank, and Charles Pugh. She was also raised with a nephew, Randy Smoot.

Evangelist Will Montgomery will conduct a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Dawson Funeral Home where family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Spring Hill Cemetery.
