Lisbon, Ohio- Linda Renee Van Dyke, 57, of State Route #45 passed away Tuesday, November 30th, 2021 at her residence at 10:36 a.m. following a brief illness.

Born October 13, 1964 in Salem, Ohio, she is the daughter of Connie Elkins Kidder of Lisbon , Ohio and of the late Lonnie E. Kidder, Sr.

A lifetime area resident, she worked for Opportunity Homes in Lisbon, Ohio for more than 25 years. A devoted mother and grandmother, she loved more than anything to spend time with her family. In years past she enjoyed camping and riding the Harley with her late husband.

Besides her father, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Carter Lee Van Dyke, Sr., her daughter, Windy Renee Van Dyke, and her brother, Lonnie E. Kidder, Jr.

She leaves behind one daughter, Lindsey Marie Van Dyke of Lisbon, Ohio and her fiancé Bobby Shaffer and one son Carter Lee Van Dyke, Jr. and his wife, Brittany of Summitville, Ohio. There are three grandchildren, Brooklynn, Warrick and Maddalynn.

In addition, she is survived by three sisters, Susan Ring and her husband, Mark, Cheryl Morris and her husband, Joe and Lora Eiler; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit the family on Sunday, December 12th, 2021 at the Dawson Funeral Home in East Liverpool, Ohio from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Seth Johnson of Lisbon, Ohio will officiate a funeral service at 6:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
