Marcelene M. Carpenter, 92

CASTLE ROCK, CO – Marcelene M. Carpenter, 92, of Castle Rock, Colorado, formerly of East Liverpool, Ohio, passed away peacefully on the morning of Monday, October 21, 2024.

Born on January 18, 1932, in East Liverpool, Marcelene was the daughter of the late Edward and Hazel (Chaney) Dietz. She was a member of the Church of Christ and worked for many years at Loblaws and WC Bunting. Marcelene spent the majority of her life in East Liverpool, where she made lifelong memories and lasting friendships, before relocating to Florida in 1988.

In addition to her parents, Marcelene was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Glenn E. Carpenter, with whom she shared 59 years of marriage. The couple was married on March 11, 1949, and Glenn passed away on March 19, 2008.

Left to honor her memory is her devoted son, G. Edward Carpenter and his wife, Deb, of Castle Rock, Colorado. Marcelene was a proud grandmother to Holly Armour and her husband, Jason, of Castle Rock, Colorado, and a cherished great-grandmother to Collin James Armour and Evan Edward Armour.

There will be no visitation or graveside service. After cremation, Marcelene will be laid to rest beside her husband at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
