M. Lynn Beatty-Hyder, 70

EAST LIVERPOOL – Marcia Lynn Beatty Hyder, of East Liverpool, passed away peacefully at her home Saturday, February 22, 2025 following a long illness. She was 70 years old. She worked on her class reunion committee for many years. She was employed at East Liverpool City Hospital in the ICCU and then for Dr. Rajinder Singh. She retired to take care of her sweet little boy Gareth that was her greatest joy!

She was predeceased by her husband Fred Hyder in 2009. They were married September 22, 1984. She was also predeceased by her mother Pat Grafton Beatty, her mother and father-in-law Betty Lou and Lee Hyder and her dear brother-in-law Larry Hyder.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her only son, Gareth Lee and his wife Jillian and her grandson Michael Lee who she was excitedly anticipating to meet in June.

She is also survived by her nephew, Matt and his children Weston, Blakely and Blaine Beatty; her niece Jamie Watt of Columbus; her sister-in-law Sandy Beatty; Stacy (who was her daughter in every way) and her husband Matt and their children Kennedy and Lincoln; and all of her "Boys" she loved so much. She leaves behind so many dear friends and considered herself very lucky to have each and everyone of them! She will love and miss everyone. She doesn't want anyone to shed any tears but to remember her by smiling, laughing and making someone's day a little bit better.

Friends may visit Friday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Fr. Leo Wehrlin will conduct a funeral service Friday at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery at a later date.
