New Middletown, OH – Mark Lee Barrett, 55, of New Middletown, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023.

He was a son of Sandy L. Millhorn Barrett of Canton and the late John Grafton Barrett, Jr. A resident of this area all his life, he was a member of the Beaver Local High School Class of 1985. He was a machinist at Liberty Steel in Warren and attended the Greenford Christian Church where he was a greeter and a committee volunteer. He loved the outdoors, especially snow skiing in the winter.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Noah Lee Barrett of New Middletown, and a sister, Kim Montgomery and her husband, Steve, of Green, Ohio, as well as a niece, Tiffany Montgomery and her husband, Bret Allison, and a nephew, Matthew Montgomery and his wife, Blayna.

Pastor Sean Kelly of the church will conduct a funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit two hours prior to the service. Burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery. Following the service, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
