Mary Anne Hoppel, 54

Phoenix, Arizona — Mary Anne Hoppel, formerly of East Liverpool, passed away at her home on Monday, May 4, 2026. She was 54 years old.

Born in East Liverpool, she was the daughter of Herman and Glenith Hoppel. She was a 1989 graduate of Beaver Local High School. In her younger years, Mary Anne could often be found on the family farm, where she loved horses and enjoyed and competed in barrel racing. She was known for her outgoing spirit and fun-loving nature, and her family and friends fondly remember the laughter and good times they shared with her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Glenith Hoppel; her maternal grandparents, Creed and Lola Linville; and her paternal grandparents, Everett and Leanore Hoppel.

She is survived by her daughter, Sydnie Hill (Caleb), and their daughter; her father, Herman Hoppel; her sisters, Cathy Weber (Mark) and Kelly Weber (Steve); and her brothers, Patrick Hoppel (Tori), Mike Hoppel (Kris), and Richard Hoppel (Wendy).

A private family service will be held at a later date.
