Mitsie Koos, 75

East Liverpool – Millicent "Mitsie" Koos, a lifelong resident of East Liverpool, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026, at the age of 75.

Born on December 24, 1950, Mitsie was the daughter of the late John Koos and Millicent Thompson Mayers. She was a proud graduate of East Liverpool High School and Kent State University. She was a member of the Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, the East Liverpool High School Alumni Association, the American Association of University Women (AAUW), the Lions Club, the Lincoln Highway Association, and the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). She also dedicated many years of volunteer service to the East Liverpool City Hospital Auxiliary.

She is survived by her sons, Dennis (Shannon) Williams and Don Williams; granddaughter, Deanna; and siblings Mary Martha, Rebecca, Mac, and Fred (Barb).

She was preceded in death by grandson, Colton Williams, the son of Don.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mitsie's honor to Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, 767 Park Blvd, E Liverpool, Ohio.

The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered their love, support, and prayers during this time of loss. Her kindness and dedication to others will be long remembered.
