CHESTER, WV – Nancy J. Lowe, 75, of Chester formerly of Wellsville passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at her home with her family by her side.

Nancy was born in East Liverpool on March 20, 1949 a daughter of the late James F. and Bona J. (Farish) Cunningham. She was a graduate of East Liverpool High School and Kent State. Nancy worked as a surgical nurse at East Liverpool City Hospital and a manager at Great Steak and Potato at the Pittsburgh Airport. In her early years she drove school bus for Beaver Local and drove race cars. Nancy loved elephants. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan. Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother; great grandmother and sister.

Preceding Nancy in death were her husband Keith W. "Chief" Lowe; daughter Monica Lowe; son James "Jim" Lowe and brother Timothy Cunningham.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Amy Duffield and her companion Bill Pugh; seven grandchildren Megan Duffield, Austin "A.J." Lowe, Katie Lowe, Haylee-Jo Albaneso, Sierra Williston, Austin Williston, and Cody Williston; thirteen great grandchildren with two more on the way; brother Dan Cunningham and his wife Karen; aunt Martha Garvey and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at the family farm on Saturday, May 18, 2024. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Dawson Funeral Home.
